The Sevenoaks Charity 5K Fun
Run is open to all walkers and runners of all ages. It covers a 5km undulating
route in the scenic and majestic Knole Park in Sevenoaks. The 2009 event took place on 1st November.
The key aim this year was to
raise funds for the Rockdale Housing Association based in Sevenoaks, to which all profits
go.
In driving rain, Sevenoaks AC's Andrew Mead won the
2009 race, while Paddock Wood's Tina Oldershaw was the women's winner and third overall. Despite the
awful conditions, 120 runners completed the race. See below for report and results.
