The Sevenoaks Charity 5K Fun Run is an annual event open to all walkers and runners of all ages. It covers a 5km undulating route in the scenic and majestic Knole Park in Sevenoaks. The key aim of the event this year is to raise funds for the Sevenoaks Volunteer Centre. Sevenoaks & Edenbridge Volunteer Centres match people who would like to give a little of their time to charities and community groups who need volunteer help. Volunteers can choose activities that interest them and support issues they care about. Whether it’s helping as part of a team working on a project, or with individuals on a one-to-one basis, the opportunities are extremely varied and can be tailored to suit the time each person is able to give. Volunteering is a great way of having a bit of fun, meeting new people, getting to know your community and really making a genuine difference to people’s lives.
