Near perfect conditions - cloudy, nine degrees C and nearly windless - helped SAC runners set some great times at the 2026 Paddock Wood Half on 8th March.
With plenty of competition from 2447 finishers at the sold-out event, Nicolene Hanekom led the SAC runners home in 1:22:13 for 7th woman and 2nd W45. She was closely followed by Keith Dowson demolishing his M60 club best of 1:25:58 with 1:22:48 for 2nd M60.
Further back down the field, Sally Shewell took even more off her W65 club second-best of 2:05:49 with 2:01:11 for 7th W65. Other notable category placings were achieved by Bea Adamson with 1:35:59 for 4th Wu23 and Simon Hallpike 1:48:29 for 4th M70. The full SAC results were:
