Neil Haggertay repeated his achievement from last month by winning the November handicap.
Andrew Milne was fastest man and Annabelle Milne the fastest woman, setting a handicap first.
Five runners are within two points at the top of the series table, and at least another dozen are in contention with just one race to go.

Allan Lee was eighth and first M40 at the second KXCL match at Somerhill School on 28 October. Allan's run helped Sevenoaks' men's team to 13th place on the day, improving them to 15th after 2 matches. In all, eight SAC runners contested the senior men's, U13 boys, senior women's and M70 races, but only fielded a full team in the senior men's.
Ollie Brownridge was 20th in a big field in the u13 boys race, with Ollie Armes close behind in 26th, while Richard Pitcairn-Knowles was eighth and first M80 in the M70 race. Only Jacqui O'Reilly ran for SAC in the senior women's race, finishing 34th in another big field. In the senior men's race, Allan was backed up by Darius Sarshar in 115th, Dan Witt 122nd and Andrew Mead 127th packing closely for an all-veteran Sevenoaks line-up.

The next race excluding senior women is on Saturday 11th November 2017 at Footscray Meadows Bexley, while the next race including senior women (no senior men) is on Saturday 25th November 2017 at Danson Park Bexleyheath.
The Sevenoaks AC women decisively won their team race at the first match of the Kent Fitness League at Knole Park on 22 October. Jacqui O'Reilly led the team in fourth, and she was backed up by Heather Fitzmaurice (2nd W45), new member Vanessa Gilmartin, and Pauline Dalton (3rd W50) scoring for the team. And with James Mason in 3rd, the men's team were second and the combined team second. Andy Nicholl, Andy Ashlee (M40 scorer), Andrew Milne, Edmund Grobel, Lee Lintern and M50 scorers James Baker and Michael McCarthy scored for the men. Great veteran performances were also contributed by Jim Fitzmaurice (2nd M70/1st M75) and Sally Shewell (3rd W55).
Thanks to Duncan for stepping in to direct the event in Rob Carr's absence, and to his team of trusty club stalwarts who helped on the day.
