Our busiest night. 5 or 7 miles from the Sennocke Centre. Winter: Knole paths or the roads around Sevenoaks (bring a torch). Summer: we explore the park a bit more.
Sennocke Centre, Sevenoaks School
From group runs and track sessions to weekend training, there are plenty of ways to run, train and improve with Sevenoaks AC.
Road or trail shoes are both fine, depending on the route and conditions. During the winter months we tend to stick to the paths in Knole Park or head out onto the roads around Sevenoaks, so a head torch or chest torch is essential on darker evenings. In summer, with more daylight to play with, we can explore more of Knole Park and the surrounding routes.
Whichever group you run with, we all meet back at the Sennocke Centre afterwards for a few informal stretches, to catch up with everyone else and, inevitably, finish the conversations we started somewhere out on the run!
Our club runs cater for a range of paces, and you won’t be left to run on your own. However, you should already be comfortable running at least 5 miles continuously.
If you’d like to give us a try, please contact us before your first session rather than simply turning up. This means we can find out a little about your running and make sure there is a leader ready to welcome you and introduce you to the most suitable group. Tuesday evening is usually the best session for your first visit.
Juniors train separately on Tuesday 18:30–19:45. See the junior section.
