Jim Knight won the August handicap race ahead of David Hale.
Jim was over 2 minutes clear and beat his handicap by 132 seconds over seven miles in bright, windy conditions.
Lucy Wilkes in third was the fastest woman and David the fastest overall.
David now leads the series ahead of Lucy Wilkes with Sam Znetyniak now in third.
The next, ninth, race is over the five mile course and starts from the track at 08:30 on Sunday 10th September.
