I attach the interim results for yesterday evening’s (29 June) meeting at Ashford. By the narrowest of margins, 33 to 32 points, we squeezed past Swanley AC to take third place in Division 2. This means that, barring catastrophe, we should take third place overall in the series when the last meeting takes place – at Gillingham on 10 July.
Jim Fitzmaurice missed M70 victory by just three seconds at the North Downs Run 30k on 28th June. And Sally Shewell was second W55 as Joe Parsons led 9 SAC runners home. The Sevenoaks results were:

I attach the Bromley 12 June Division 2 meeting results: another successful session, with Sevenoaks AC finishing third in the meeting and overtaking Swanley AC for third place in the overall series so far.
Sally Shewell was first W55, James Graham first M60 and Peter Dillon 2nd M70 as nineteen SAC runners contested the Harvel 5 on 6th June. Keith Brown led us home, just ahead of Joe Parsons, while Jane Morgan was our first woman. Unfortunately, there was no number or chip for Pauline Dalton, despite her and Duncan's confirmed entry, and she wasn't able to run. The SAC results were as follows:
